Capital Campaign - "Breaking New Ground"

 

 

The Providence Community Health Centers has embarked on an ambitious new project that will enable them to provie quality primary health care to more Providence residents. In March of 2011 the oraganization broke ground at 369 prairie Ave in Proviednece for a new 41,000 square foot state of the art health center. (rendering shown above) the project, "Breaking New Ground" is currently underway and should be completed by April 2012.

 

The new facility will offer Adult primary health care, Pediatric health care as well as Obstetric and Gynecological health care for women. In addition the new health center will provide specialty services in Dermatology, diabetes, Asthma/Allergy, and Posiatry. There will also be an urgent care area for people who need care immediatly and are unable to get a doctors appointment.

 

As part of the new health center one of the wings will be dedicated to behavorial health care. Staff from The Providence Center in colaboration with PCHC staff will help with the total care of a patient providing both mental and primary care in the same setting.

 

Thes new facility will enable the Providence Community Health Centers to help provide care to 10,000 additional patients. this wil help meet the increasing demand for primary care in the city.

 

As in all of Providence Community Health Centers locations anyone is welcome whether they have insurance or nto. Individual who do not have health insurance can come to the health centers and pay on a sliding fee scale according to their income level.
