For directions go to http://www.crossroadsri.org/directions.htm. The health center receives Federal funding to provide health care for the homeless. At the clinic most of the health care needs of the adult homeless population are provided for, including health maintenance, disease prevention, management of chronic and acute medical problems, behavioral health services, prescription assistance, as well as dental services. The clinic primarily serves the homeless population, and others are welcomed on a sliding fee schedule. All insurances are accepted.
Social services are provided by a patient support counselor as well as by referral to Crossroads multi-service agency. For further information on Crossroads or other services available go to http://www.crossroadsri.org.
The staff is comprised of medical providers, a volunteer nurse practitioner, and a psychiatrist from the Providence Center, as well as an excellent nursing staff.
