Dr. David Mills received his bachelor’s degree and his MBA with concentration in Health Care Administration, from Providence College. Dr. Mills studied Biochemistry at University of Rhode Island before receiving his Doctor of Optometry from New England College of Optometry (NECO) in Boston. He is an adjunct faculty member with NECO, and previously held the position of Executive Director of Clinical Operations at NECO. Dr. Mills joined PCHC in 2017 and has been an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Rhode Island Optometric Association. When not working, Dr. Mills enjoys reading, and his favorite past time is a coin toss between being a sports fanatic for the Patriots and going to the beach!
El Dr. David Mills recibió su Licenciatura y su MBA con concentración en Administración de Servicios de Salud, del Providence College. Dr. Amanda Hunter received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from The State University of New York in Geneseo, New York and her Doctor of Optometric Medicine from The New England College of Optometry in Boston. Dr. Hunter completed her residency in Ocular Disease and Primary Care at the Providence VA Medical Center in Rhode Island. She is an adjunct faculty member at The New England College of Optometry, the Illinois College of Optometry, The Pennsylvania College of Optometry, the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and the Midwestern University College of Optometry. Dr. Hunter joined PCHC in 2020. In her free time, Dr. Hunter enjoys playing volleyball, hiking, and crafting.

Megan Nappi, OD, is an optometrist who received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University School of Optometry. Megan completed her residency at Providence Community Health Centers. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with University honors in Biology from the University of New Hampshire. She was first introduced to The Providence Community Health Centers through its internship and residency programs. Megan was raised in Rhode Island and enjoys spending time camping with family and reading.

Dr. Katrina Mahood is an optometrist with Providence Community Health Centers. She received a dual degree as a Doctor of Optometry and a Master of Public Health from MCPHS University in Worcester. While at MCPHS, Dr. Mahood was the President of the school’s chapter of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia.
Prior to joining our team, Dr. Mahood completed an externship with Providence Community Health Centers along with rotations at the VA Medical Center and Atlantic Family Eye Care. She also completed internships at MCPHS’ Eye and Vision Centre, Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center, and Family Health Center, all in Worcester. Dr. Mahood completed her post-graduate residency training at Providence Community Health Centers before being hired on the team fulltime in the summer of 2023.
In her free time, Dr. Mahood enjoys trying new restaurants, reading a good book and spending time outdoors with her family including Mari, her energetic dog!

Dr. Rebecca Ray Doyle received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from University of Tennessee and her Doctor of Optometric Medicine from The New England College of Optometry. She completed her residency in Ocular Disease and Primary Care at the Providence VA Medical Center in Rhode Island. Dr. Ray is an adjunct faculty member at The New England College of Optometry, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and Midwestern University College of Optometry. Dr. Ray currently holds memberships with the American Academy of Optometry, American Optometric Association, National Association of VA Optometrists, and Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity and the Rhode Island Optometric Association. Dr. Ray joined PCHC in 2018. When she’s not working, Dr. Ray plays tennis, travels, reads and spends time with her two young children and husband.
