Dr. David Mills received his bachelor’s degree and his MBA with concentration in Health Care Administration, from Providence College. Dr. Mills studied Biochemistry at University of Rhode Island before receiving his Doctor of Optometry from New England College of Optometry (NECO) in Boston. He is an adjunct faculty member with NECO, and previously held the position of Executive Director of Clinical Operations at NECO. Dr. Mills joined PCHC in 2017 and has been an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Rhode Island Optometric Association. When not working, Dr. Mills enjoys reading, and his favorite past time is a coin toss between being a sports fanatic for the Patriots and going to the beach!

Dr. Jeffrey D. Ainley received his bachelor’s degree from University of Rhode Island in Zoology and his Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry (NECO). Dr. Ainley is a Clinical Adjunct Professor of Optometry at NECO. He began his optometric career as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy and was stationed in Newport RI. Dr. Ainley continued his practice with various optometry groups throughout Rhode Island. Dr. Ainley joined PCHC in 2016 and is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Rhode Island Optometric Association. When not working, Dr. Ainley enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. Some favorite activities include skiing, camping, cooking and reading.

Dr. Hunter completed her residency in Ocular Disease and Primary Care at the Providence VA Medical Center in Rhode Island. She is an adjunct faculty member at The New England College of Optometry, the Illinois College of Optometry, The Pennsylvania College of Optometry, the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and the Midwestern University College of Optometry. Dr. Hunter joined PCHC in 2020. In her free time, Dr. Hunter enjoys playing volleyball, hiking, and crafting.

She graduated Summa Cum Laude with University honors in Biology from the University of New Hampshire. Megan is a member of the BSK International Optometric Honor Society. She was first introduced to The Providence Community Health Centers through its internship and residency programs. Megan was raised in Rhode Island and enjoys spending time camping with family and reading.
