Jennifer Etue received her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology, with a concentration in Human Services from State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz and her Master degree in Social Work from SUNY Albany. Jennifer has a wealth of crisis intervention experience providing care to all ages, from young children to the elderly. She has worked with trauma and loss impact on teens and children – both individuals and groups – through schools, shelters and hospitals throughout the state. Jennifer joined PCHC in 2017 and as Senior Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician she provides clinical services as well as supports staff training. When she’s not working, Jennifer enjoys physical activities that focus on fitness and wellness and she loves to be outdoors— most often found out and about with her rescue dog.

Beth Bogus is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who joined Providence Community Health Centers in 2020. She brings a wide variety of Integrated Behavioral Health experience, most recently as a social worker at Rhode Island Hospital and Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Over her career, she has worked with children and families in a variety of clinical settings including the The Arc of Bristol County and the Department of Developmental Services for the state of Massachusetts. She completed her Master of Social Work at Bridgewater State College. She received her undergraduate degree from Penn State University. When not at work, Beth enjoys spending time with her family, especially in outdoor spaces throughout Rhode Island.

Stacy Silva received her BA in Psychology from Wheaton College in Massachusetts, and her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Bridgewater State University in 2011. Stacy joined PCHC in 2018 with extensive experience as a Manager and Clinical Therapist for behavioral outpatient programs and a Co-Occurring Therapist for addiction treatment and recovery services. In addition, Stacy participated in clinical research with Brown University as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She has worked with both children and adults in various settings throughout her career. In her free time, Stacy enjoys going on adventures in nature with her family, reading fiction novels and relaxing on the beach.

Annie Avila, LCSW, is an Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician with Providence Community Health Centers. She received her Master of Social Work from the Advanced Standing Program at Rhode Island College. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and Bachelor of Arts in Administration of Justice, both from Salve Regina University.
She previously served as a bilingual clinician with the Enhanced Outpatient Services Program at NAFI, which operates residential, foster care and community-based programs in Rhode Island. Prior to that, Annie worked as a bilingual caseworker with Tides Family Services, and a bilingual court advocate at the Kent County Courthouse.
Annie was the recipient of the Promising Practitioner Award from the Rhode Island chapter of the National Association of Social Workers. In her free time, she enjoys being by the beach or at local coffee shops..

Mark Pfeiffer received his BA in sociology from Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana and his Master of Social Work from Indiana University School of Social Work in Indianapolis. Mark joined PCHC in 2017 with extensive experience working as an outpatient therapist, as well as in an emergency department setting performing crisis mental health assessments. Mark brings various cultural experiences to his practice – he spent several formative childhood years in Namibia (Southwest Africa) and has traveled to Mexico, Ukraine, Jamaica and Kenya. In his free time, Mark enjoys biking and hiking with his wife and their three children and rescue pup.

Mark Pfeiffer recibió su Licenciatura en Sociología del Hanover College en Hannover, Indiana y su Maestría en Trabajo Social de la University's School of Social Work in Indiana. Mark se unió a PCHC en 2017 con una amplia experiencia como terapeuta en un ambiente ambulatorio, así como en salas de emergencia donde realizaba evaluaciones de salud mental en tiempo de crisis. Mark aporta varias experiencias culturales a su práctica: pasó varios años de infancia formativa en Namibia (suroeste de África) y ha viajado a México, Ucrania, Jamaica y Kenia. En su tiempo libre, Mark disfruta andar en bicicleta y practicar senderismo con su esposa, tres hijos y cachorro de rescate.

Marianela Dougal joined PCHC in 2021 with more than 20 years of behavioral health and public health experience in a variety of settings. She holds a Master of Social Work from Rhode Island College and a Master of Business Administration from Johnson & Wales University. Marianela received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Rhode Island. Marianela immigrated with her family in the late 70s from Guatemala, making Rhode Island home. Marianela is bicultural and bilingual, speaking both Spanish and English.
She previously worked as a Senior Clinical Therapist at Gateway Healthcare, as Clinical Coordinator for the Pediatric Psychiatry Resource Network at Bradley Hospital, a Clinician for Enhanced Outpatient Services at NAFI-RI, Outpatient Clinician at FSRI, and Public Health Promotion Specialist for the RI Department of Health, Tobacco Control Program.  For more than eight years, Marianela also served as an Adjunct Field Instructor and Supervisor in the Field Education Office, School of Social Work at Rhode Island College.
In her free time, Marianela enjoys different genres of music, salsa dancing, and cooking with her adult children.

Dr. Tapan is an Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist who was Chief Fellow of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. She also completed an Autism Spectrum Disorder Fellowship from Massachusetts General Hospital and the Lurie Center of Autism in Lexington, MA. Dr. Tapan completed her residency in Psychiatry at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston, where she served as Chief Resident. She received her medical degree from Hacettepe University School of Medicine in Turkey.

Dr. Tapan is a member of several professional organizations including the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and the International Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professionals.

Dr. Tapan was born and raised in Turkey and enjoys spending time exploring New England with her family and friends.

Dhienica Charles, MA, MHC, who holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of New Haven, is an Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician with Providence Community Health Centers. She completed her master’s degree internship at the Family Intervention Center in Waterbury, CT. Dhienica has worked as a clinician at Brightside Behavioral Health and Newport County Community Mental Health Center. She is fluent in Haitian Creole. She received her bachelor’s degree in Community Health and Wellness from Rhode Island College.
Dhienica was raised in Rhode Island and loves spending time with her family; she also enjoys traveling, reading, and writing poetry.
