Important Changes at Providence Community Health Centers

March 25, 2020

Dear Patients & Families,

The Providence Community Health Centers (PCHC) remain available for all your healthcare concerns and needs throughout the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic. In order to do that, we have made important changes to the way that we provide care to you. These changes are for your safety, the safety of our staff and our community, and are only temporary. As always, your PCHC clinic is available to answer your questions.

Effective Immediately

We Offer Telemedicine:
Telemedicine is a service that allows you to talk with a provider using your telephone. If you have medical concerns and would like to speak with one of our providers, please call us. We can offer telephone visits for many minor medical complaints and behavioral health services.

Currently, PCHC is using telephone-only services to provide telemedicine to our patients. Soon we will also be able to provide telemedicine services that allow you to videoconference with your provider using your computer, smartphone or tablet.

Sick Appointments:
If you are feeling sick, please call us as soon as possible so that we can assist you. A PCHC staff member will be available to assess you and offer you advice and/or treatment.

PCHC providers will use telemedicine visits to provide care to you if you are feeling sick. If we determine that an in-person visit is needed, we will schedule an appointment for you at one of our clinics.

For your safety, please DO NOT walk into any of our clinics without a scheduled appointment.
